NEET-PG 2021: Eligibility Criteria & Exam Pattern
Thousands of students apply every year for NEET PG 2021. It is the national PG course exam for MD/ MS courses. The exam is conducted in online mode. This exam is conducted by the NBE (National Board of Examination). The exam dates have been announced and the exam will be held on 01 August 2021.
In this admission procedure Master of Surgery (MS) has 10,821 seats, for Doctor of Medicines (MD) it has 19,953 seats, and for PG diploma 1,979 seats are available. To get admission in NEET PG 2021 students need to fulfill the eligibility criteria.
NEET PG Exam Eligibility Criteria
To get admission student need to qualify for NEET PG eligibility criteria 2021 are as follows:
1. The aspirant must have an MBBS degree from a recognised university.
2. The candidate needs to complete a one-year internship before applying for the exam.
3. The candidate must have a permanent medical registration certificate issued from the NMC (National Medical Commission).
4. The ineligible candidate is not allowed to appear in the exam.
NEET PG Exam Pattern
The exam pattern is the same as last year in which students need to solve 300 questions in 210 minutes. It is a multiple-choice question. There is a negative marking for each and every wrong answer. English is the mode of the question paper. For every right answer, the candidate will get +4 and for every wrong answer, the candidate will get -1. The question which is not responded to does not consist of any marks.
NEET PG Exam 2021 has not a specified age limit for the candidates who are appearing in the exam. Students from certain categories and quotas have relaxation in their percentage of marks and seat reservations.
